eBeam Application Detection

If the eBeam application is not already installed, please install it.

  1. Launch the eBeam application.

    Normally, when the application launches, it senses the eBeam system immediately and displays the status line "Connected to version n.n eBeam hardware on COM y" where 'n.n' is the firmware revision level and 'y' is the COM port number to which the eBeam is attached.

    If the hardware could not be found, the status line displays "Could not connect to eBeam, on COM y" and an error dialog bog appears indicating that eBeam could not be found.

Did the software find the eBeam hardware?
