| eBeam
mouse & eBeam Software |
Symptom:
Launching eBeam mouse and then launching the eBeam
application software an error message appears indicating
that eBeam could not be found. However, the Beam mouse
works fine.
Solution: When the eBeam mouse is launched, it
takes control of the eBeam hardware. When the eBeam
application is then launched, the error message is
simply reporting that it doesn't have control of the
hardware. Only one eBeam application can have control
of the hardware at a time.

| Erratic
Data Capture |
Symptom:
Stroke data or erroneous lines appear in the eBeam
application.
Solution:
The eBeam hardware is designed to detect and capture
only one signal from a sleeve or eraser at a time.
Attempting to write with two markers at once, will
produce the above symptoms.

| Hosting
a Meeting |
Symptom:
Attempting to host a meeting from "This PC"
produces the error message "Cannot start server!
Port 80 is already in use!"
Solution: Web serving programs such as PWS (Personal
Web Server), IIS (Internet Information Server), Apache,
etc. broadcast web sites and pages using port 80.
This is also the port that broadcasts the eBeam information.
To host a meeting, please stop service on any Web
Server applications running.
