New eBeam System 3 Features on Display in EFI
and Partner Booths

new features to its dynamic eBeam System 3™ digital
whiteboard appliance, at the InfoComm show in Las
Vegas, June 12-14. The award-winning eBeam® system,
the smallest, lightest and most efficient digital
whiteboard solution on the market, is on display in
Booth 3114.
The eBeam system captures meeting notes and diagrams
as they are created on whiteboards and broadcasts
them over the Internet or corporate intranet in real-time.
The technology preview this week at InfoComm features
powerful new presentation tools for use with digital
projectors, integrated live Web tours, and a Bluetooth™-enabled
solution.
The eBeam technology preview in Booth 3114 includes
a bevy of new presentation tools. The eBeam system
can be used in conjunction with a projector to create
a virtual touch-screen. Presenters can open applications
and control the computer by using the eBeam pen as
"mouse" on the board. The new presentation
tools allow users to annotate presentations and save
screen captures of any work done in any application.
Instructors can use the "web tour" feature
within the eBeam software to incorporate Internet
content into presentations in real-time. Control and
ease-of-use have been enhanced by the addition of
a floating toolbar and on-screen keyboard.
EFI also will demonstrate a whiteboard meeting broadcast
using the new Bluetooth wireless technology standard
and a Pocket PC. The Bluetooth-enabled eBeam demonstration
will show how easily whiteboard content can be captured
via a wireless link and instantly viewed, saved, edited
or printed by anyone with a mobile device.
InfoComm attendees can also see a variety of eBeam-enabled
solutions on display in booths throughout the show,
including 3M (Booth 19080), Interlink (Booth 16102),
and GBC Office Products Group (Booth 2139).

The award-winning eBeam System is a digital whiteboard
appliance that works with existing whiteboards and
other writing surfaces to capture meeting notes and
diagrams as they are created. Information is viewed,
saved, edited, shared, and printed using a PC or Mac.
Unlike traditional electronic whiteboards and copyboards,
the eBeam device is portable, easy to install, and
Web-enabled. The entire system - consisting of a palm-sized

on Palm OS devices and includes the eBeam Mouse application,
which works with a digital projector to turn the display
area into a virtual touch-screen. Built-in conferencing
features allow users to share whiteboard data with
anyone on the Internet in real-time.
