Luidia's software team develops and supports the software for eBeam systems. The main product isWindows software that communicates with eBeam hardware, supports visualization, desktop annotations, online conferences, etc. Other products includeeBeam meeting server, client software for Mac and Linux, and Java applet client software. This is the small and dynamic group with wide range of responsibilities.
This position is for an experienced developerwho will support the existing software, maintain various versions for different customers, work closely with QA, as well as develop new modules and applications.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related
- 5+ years experience
- Familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle
- Development of complex Microsoft Windows GUI applications (C++, Win32, MFC, .NET)
- Experience working with .NET development (C#, WinForms, ASP.Net , and Visual Studio .NET)
- Experience with object-oriented design & application architecture
- Experience with socket APIs, inter-process communications, and multi-threaded programming
- Experience with client/server programming in .NET and Win32/MFC
- Results oriented and product focused with excellent attention to detail and quality
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related
DESIRED SKILLS :
- experience with software internationalization
- C/C++ programming skills in Linux/Unix environments
- Proficiency with GNU tools and shell/perl scripting
